A Place To Call HOME

Home is a shelter to call your own. A safe refuge. A place of welcome.

And, this weekend, in an effort to welcome Chicagoans and non-Chicagoans alike to the neighborhood and celebrate Logan Square as a place that one can call home, a mural design, entitled "HOME," will be installed at the Logan Square CTA bus terminal at Milwaukee Avenue and Kedzie.

Johalla Projects and Logan Square's Alderman Rey Colón have collaborated with Chicago artists Nick Adam and Thor "Thunder Circus" Goodlife on the 35th Ward Mural Initiative, a program designed in support of installing this welcoming mural.

The mural serves as a visual expression of the home to include the Logan Square neighborhood. It raises awareness and is a reminder that our public space is where we live as well.

There is no place like home, and there is no place like Logan Square!

Welcome Home.
