Logan Square International Film Series Features Alejandro Jodorowsky

Happy New Year Everyone!

This month, Logan Square International Flim Series gives Chicagoans the opportunity to view almost the entirety of Alejandro Jodorowsky's feature film output, with FREE weekly screenings throughout the month. The series opened up with great success last night, when Alejandro premiered the series with Santa Sangre.

In the space of just 6 feature films, Alejandro Jodorowsky has brought to the screen an astounding array of images and ideas. A visionary among visionaries, this living legend has invented a religion, authored what has been widely called "the best comic book ever," and taken on film as just one of many media. His status as a cult film hero was solidified when his EL TOPO (1970) became one of the very first superhits at midnight showings at the infamous Elgin Theater.

Upcoming shows:
Sunday, January 9 | THE HOLY MOUNTAIN
Sunday, January 16 | TUSK
Sunday, January 23 | FANDO AND LIS
Sunday, January 30 | EL TOPO

All screenings are shown at 3421 W. Medill and begin at 8:00 p.m.
