"The Observatory" at The Charnel House this weekend

If you are looking for something to do this weekend, consider checking out another great new arts space in Logan Square.  The Charnel House together with The Viable Theater Company is presenting encore performances of "The Observatory" at the new event space at 3421 W Fullerton all weekend! Vincent Truman's "The Observatory" is about a schoolteacher (Truman), who is given the opportunity to make some extra money by merely watching a hologram of a suspected terrorist in his home. His marriage, life and soon his mind, disintegrate around him as he begins to think the woman he is watching may be innocent.  The play does contain adult themes and partial nudity, so be sure to leave the little ones at home!  The performances are tonight, April 22 through Sunday, April 24 at 8 PM.  There will also be two more performances next  Friday and Saturday (April 29 & 30) at the same time.  Tickets are $12 in advance from Brown Paper tickets and $15 cash at the door.

In Tall Buildings performing at saki
On another note, we made it to saki last weekend for Record Store Day!  When we arrived, the store was packed, there was lots of record-buying going on and In Tall Buildings was just finishing up a great set. To see more photos from Record Store Day, visit our facebook page.
